Abstract


An analysis was carried out at the spas at the city of Chignahuapan, Puebla, Mexico, to observe if an adequate management has been accomplished in them, determining the analogies and divergences that they have with each other, with the objective of finding the omissions or failures that can be given in the management of the same that includes aspects such as the training of their human capital and if these have an adequate planning to propose the best strategies to improve management, to make them more competitive and achieve positioning in the short or medium term, the city Chignahuapan, Puebla as a Health Tourism destination, taking advantage of the vocation than it has for its already famous thermal waters and the important natural and cultural attractions that made it obtain the appointment of "Pueblo Magico "In 2012, this being granted by the Secretary of Tourism (SECTUR) at the federal level. It is important to highlight the boom that "Health Tourism" has had in the last 10 years, which has proliferated companies that are called Spas, although they do not have the adequate facilities and without a minimum notion to properly manage these types of companies tourist that offer the tourist multiple possibilities of relaxation and improvement of the health that due to the hectic pace of life current is required.
